Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1:Arusha
Your Africa safari odyssey begins with touch down at the Kilimanjaro International airport in Arusha. At hand to receive you will be your safari guide who will receive you after immigration and visa processing. You will depart from the Kilimanjaro International airport and start your drive towards Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha you will be assisted to check in at your hotel for an overnight stay at Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha To Tarangire.
Day 3: Tarangire To Lake Ndutu NCAA.
Day 4: On Safari At Lake Ndutu NCAA.
Wake up to the birds chirping for a cup of freshly brewed coffee. You will have early breakfast at camp and depart for your game drive in Lake Ndutu plains exploring this vast wilderness teeming with wildlife. You will follow the wildebeest hersd as they give birth to young ones over the Ndutu plains. The herds give birth to approximately 8000 wildebeest daily. You will also experience the Big cats in Ndutu ie Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards and the Hyenas as the follow and hunt down the Wildebeest and the young one. Return to your lodge for hot lunch and afternoon rest. You will have another game safari in the evening as the sun slowly cools down and the wildlife get active again returning to your lodge at sunset.
Day 5: Lake Ndutu NCAA To Central Serengeti.
After an early breakfast, we will check out from our lodge at Ndutu. Depart our camp starting a game drive in the Lake Ndutu region as we follow the wildebeest herds. We will explore further the lake Ndutu and the vast plains as we follow the migrating herds and other wildlife around the lake Ndutu. We will have picnic lunch at Ndutu and later exit the Ndutu region and drive into the Southern Serengeti. We will continue with our game drive in the afternoon driving towards the central Serengeti in search of the big cats and other wildlife in Serengeti. We will arrive at our camp in the central Serengeti area in the evening as the sun sets over the Serengeti plains.
Day 6: On Safari At Serengeti
On this day, you will follow the wildlife at Serengeti exploring this vast wilderness teeming with wildlife and rocky outcrops scattered over the horizon. The Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You will drive into the central park area known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You could opt to have a full day out in the wild or have a half day returning to your camp for lunch and driving out again for a sunset safari. You will experience the magic of the Serengeti with amazing sunsets over the rocky outcrops and vast plains of Serengeti.
Day 7: Serengeti Central To Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, we will depart our camp and start a game drive in Serengeti. You will explore the vast Serengeti coming close to the migrating wildebeest herds southern of the Serengeti. You will slowly start driving towards the Serengeti exit as you look out for the big cats and other wildlife roaming the plains. You will stop at the Naabi for picnic lunch and after lunch you will traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation area as you drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Arrive at your camp in the evening and enjoy the sweeping views of the Ngorongoro Crater form the camp.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha
After an early breakfast at the camp, will We will descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will exit the Ngorongoro Crater at approximately 1100 Hours and start the scenic drive towards the Crater rim and into the Ngorongoro Farmlands. We will stop for picnic lunch continuing with our journey towards Arusha tow. You will drive to your hotel of choice or transferred to the Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight to the next destination.
