Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1:Arusha
Your 6 Days Tanzania safari odyssey begins with touch down at the Kilimanjaro International airport in Arusha. At hand to receive you will be your safari guide who will receive you after immigration and visa processing. You will depart from the Kilimanjaro International airport and start your drive towards Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha you will be assisted to check in at your hotel for an overnight stay at Arusha.
Day 2: Tarangire
Your Tanzania safari starts with pick up at Arusha, Tanzania. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel at approximately 0830 hours ready for your safari. After a short pre safari briefing, you will depart from Arusha driving towards the Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival at Tarangire, after registration, you will start your game drive looking out for the Big cats and Elephants herds that are synonymous with the Tarangire. Tarangire-a gathering of Giants in a picture perfect African landscape. The Undulating savannah woodland, dotted with majestic baobabs- many of which are estimated to be over 2000 years old. Tarangire is home to the largest Elephant population in northern Tanzania safari circuit. And as the dust blows on the dry plains, game viewing is nothing less than breathtaking. Late in the dry season, the park hosts the highest density of wildlife of almost anywhere in Africa. You will have picnic lunch on the banks of the Tarangire River and continue with your game drive slowly as you drive towards the camp. You will drive towards the camp arriving as the sun sets over the vast Tarangire for rest and overnight.
Day 3: Tarangire To Serengeti
As the sun rises over Tarangire; you will prepare for the day and have breakfast at the camp. Depart from your camp after breakfast and start your drive towards the Ngorongoro crater. You will have a scenic stop over at the Ngorongoro crater view point. Continue with your drive towards the Serengeti National Park passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation wildlife dispersal areas. These are plains with wildlife and you will encounter Gazelles, Wildebeest, and Giraffes among other animals. You will arrive at Serengeti in time for picnic lunch and start your game drive as you slowly head towards the central Serengeti. The Serengeti is one of the best places to view the big cats and Wildebeest Migration in Africa. Arrive at you camp as the sun sets over the open Serengeti plains.
Day 4: On Safari At Serengeti National Park
Wake up to the birds chirping for a cup of freshly brewed coffee. You will have breakfast at camp and depart camp for your game drive in Serengeti exploring this vast wilderness teeming with wildlife and rocky outcrops scattered over the horizon. The Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You will drive into the central park area known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will arrive in time for picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. You will have picnic lunch on the plains of Serengeti continuing with your game drive returning to you camp in the evening in time for the magnificent sunset and overnight at the camp.
Day 5:Serengeti National Park To Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, we will depart our camp and start a game drive in Serengeti. You will explore the vast Serengeti coming close to the migrating wildebeest herds southern of the Serengeti. You will slowly start driving towards the Serengeti exit as you look out for the big cats and other wildlife roaming the plains. You will proceed towards the Ngorongoro Crater arriving at the Crater floor in time for a game drive and picnic lunch. Explore the Ngorongoro crater after lunch coming close to the wildlife roaming the Ngorongoro crater floor. Exit the Ngorongoro Crater in the evening and drive towards the accommodation on the Ngorongoro Highlands at Karatu. Overnight at Karatu.
Day 6: Ngorongoro To Arusha
Wake up to the sun rising over the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy your morning breakfast and check out form the Lodge starting your leisure drive towards Arusha. Stop over ta the Lake Manyara Great rift valley view point. Proceed towards Arusha town arriving at Arusha in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel or airport for onward flight.
