At the hotel, you will be met by our safari representative for briefing. You will be introduced to your driver/guide. You will embark on your Kenya safari proceeding north of Nairobi and into the great rift valley with a brief stopover at the view point. The Great Rift Valley is one of the wonders of the world, stretching from the Syria, down through Africa, stretching as far as Mozambique. The mesmerizing view, as you approach from Nairobi, Kenya is breathtaking. The ground suddenly disappears from under you to show the huge expanse of the great rift, stretching into the horizon in either direction. Early morning breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the reserve. The Maasai Mara is famous for its black mane lions and the annual wildebeest migration. This is probably one of Kenya’s most visited reserve with an extraordinary density of animals including the Big five and many other varieties of plains game. The Mara river cuts through the Mara and Serengeti eco systems giving life to the both reserves before finally pouring out into the Lake Victoria. Impressive and most notable is the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle instinct led migration from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Mara in Kenya. This journey is coupled by numerous obstacles which makes it even more magnificent.
